Expert.NET Developer

VSoft Technologies are a successful Canberra based ISV. We specialise in Automation software, with FinalBuilder for developers, and Automise for IT professionals. Our products are used by companies world wide, and enjoy a reputation for excellence.

This is a senior role, the successful applicant will be involved in shaping the design and architecture of the next generation of our products. This is a highly technical role, you will be expected to be an expert develper, fluent in C# and the .NET framework.

Responsibilities:

* Continuing development and maintenance of software
* Documentation of product features
* Technical support (mostly via emails and forums)
* Mentoring of Software Developers
* Attending trade shows
* Technical Blogging

Personal Attributes:

* Excellent written and spoken English

* Interested in technology developments and trends

Essential Experience:

* A minimum of 5 years professional experience in software development   required.
* Expert in .NET application design and development
* Expert in C#
* WCF or .NET Remoting
* Distributed application design
* Proficiency in ASP.NET
* Proficiency in the use of HTML, XML, XLS, JavaScript, CSS etc
* SQL Server or other DB Server experience
* Unit testing with NUnit, MSTest etc
* Version control systems (any)
* Automated software builds

The following skills would be an advantage but are not essential:

* VB Script, Powershell, IronPython
* C++ or Delphi
* Win32 API Usage
* ASP.NET MVC
* FinalBuilder experience a definate plus!
* Agile Methodologies
* Public Speaking, technical presentations etc
* Linux or Unix knowledge
* Apple Mac
